Waffle Stop @ 1 Utama

I've never been a big fan of waffles, even topped with ice cream. Not sure why, but i don't like the taste of the waffle at A&W. But i came across the Waffle Stop kiosk at 1Utama Food Court, which has the best waffles so far. It comes with a range of toppings.

Also known as '300 Pahlawan Berani Mati'. Seriously, they should have stopped translating at '300' (even '300 Pahlawan Sparta' doesn't sound too bad). I managed to watch this movie on the opening day itself. Despite sleeping for only 2-3 hours the night before (work work work) and rushing to get my passport renewed (had to go twice, first time i went, they already stopped for lunch). This movie is really really awesome, but it's not for the fainthearted. You'll see decapitated heads flying.

This movie beats Troy or any other movie of that range. Gerard Butler makes a good King Leonidas, but i can't help but notice his teeth everytime he talks. The character Ephialtes reminds me of Gollum from LOTR.

This movie is really worth watching. Anyone who's going to watch it, please call me along! I don't mind watching again!

Not so digital

About 2 months back, Digital Mall at Seksyen 14 PJ had a grand opening. The place was packed and the mall doesn't have a parking. People would have to park at Jaya mall which was next to it or along the street. It was so freaking pack on the grand opening that many parked illegally along the street and near the housing area. The police had a grand day too, giving out summons.

This was a picture i took of Digital Mall, from Jaya (which is just opposite).

The big screen is usually showing movie trailers or something, but on that day a big error message appeared on the screen. Heh, not so digital after all...

Chinese New Year!

Happy Chinese New Year, all!! I know, it's almost over...but it's better late than never.

I took a week off during the CNY hols. The longest ever holiday for CNY i've taken so far. Went back home on Thursday (15th Feb) to beat the holiday 'balik kampung' rush and came back to KL on the following Friday (23rd Feb) to beat the 'back to work' rush. Successful at both attempts! :D

First thing i did back home was to inspect the cookie haul...

Joshua had a new outfit...


He has a new found love for 'bak kua'. And likes to try every cookie, which he doesn't finish. He's scared of fireworks. Poor kid.


I managed to visit a number of friends this time around. And collected more 'ang pow' than last year. Spent a lot of time at Huai Lin's place, taking pictures. Here's one of her adjusting the camera.

The Waterlily Cafe

Went to the Waterlily Cafe yesterday night for dinner. It's located at the IOI Commercial building in Puchong, facing the LDP. This place was recommended by friends who said the BBQ there was good. It's a halal cafe, so no pok! (You guys got to seriously watch that clip, damn funny)


I don't know why it's called a cafe, when it's more like a restaurant. But nowadays the word 'cafe' is overused anyways. The restaurant has seats inside and outside. The tables outside are garden tables and benches, with an umbrella overhead.

We tried their Bali BBQ, which was why we were there. There were other things in the menu, but didn't bother reading it. We ordered their Bali BBQ Beef Set and their Bali BBQ Chicken & Lamb Combo Set. The meat was really nicely cooked and their portions are big!

I hardly touched my soup and garlic bread. The soup tasted funky to me, i think it's because of the parsley/coriander-like thingy they added in.

Overall the meal was really good and cheap! About RM25-RM30 per person. Yum~

Cupcakes!

Had my cupcakes delivered last Monday! Although i was suppose to collect it on Saturday, but due to some kind of mix-up, it wasn't there when i went to pick it up. So i had it delivered to me on Monday instead.

Since it's near Valentines, i ordered the lovely Valentines design. I was eying the Chocolate Thunder design though. For those who are planning to get married or engaged, they have those themes too. Basically, you can suggest to them the theme you want and they will see if they can do it or not.

Pretty little things, aren't they? I'm amazed at their effort taken to do the icing. I chose the chocolate chip flavour, but i wanna try the mint chocolate chip and coffee flavours as well! But they only allow 1 flavour and design per box.

That's all folks, now off to eat me cupcakes!

First Time

It was her first time. Her first time yesterday...

Her lust finally satisfied.

It was so refreshing. So rejuvenating, from head to toe, front to back.

Yes, it was my car's first wash. Costing all 5 bucks from BHP.
