Bringing a Gundam to life 2

Since we had so much fun doing the previous Gundam, we got another model to work on. This time we got a Gundam Astraea. From what i was told it's actually the same guy from the previous Gundam, but in a different colour as he wanted to disguise himself. Something along those lines......

The whole set

The parts are quite similar, so it's quite easy. They had some pretty small stickers though. Quite hard to stick at those tiny places.

Stickers..not for collecting

Part of the guide

A whole page to produce a small part

This time around, we had 2 choices for the head. It's either with dark shades or with piercing green eyes. Note: the piercing green eyes are from the sticker. Told you it was small.

2 heads are better than 1?

In the end we had to choose 1 only. Here's the completed head gear.

Look into my eyes...!

What happened to the other head? Well, we had a visit from the previous Gundam......

Watch out for the head!

Inspecting the progress

I suspected he was feeling a little threatened. With a spanking new red Gundam in the neighbourhood, he won't be the favourite anymore.

While we were not looking....

Taking his revenge!

Feeling hungry after a fight.

May the best man (Gundam) win!

Lily Cenario Cafe

I recently discovered this café from a colleague. From the way she gushed about the cakes, I was eager to try it out. The place is called Lily Cenario Café, situated at the corner behind New Paris Restaurant, SS2.

So I went there yesterday evening for dinner. I took some pictures of the food and of the café. Keep in mind though, the food has no msg added in.

The interior

Cakes on display (only a few though)

The menu consisted of local and western food and some sandwiches. A few choices but not much. They had a few selections of Flower Tea, each for different health purposes.

We ordered Spaghetti Bolognese, Black Pepper Chicken Chop with rice and Fried Chicken. The food was.....so-so only. Not rich in taste. Had to keep reminding myself that there's no msg. I tried the Ipoh White coffee, but was quite disappointed. The coffee was quite diluted and it's not because there was too much ice. I'm pretty sure the 'no msg' can be used as an excuse here.

Spaghetti Bolognese....i could have done a better job with Prego

BP Chicken Chop with rice and Otak-otak rolls

Fried Chicken...this one was quite nice

Ice Ipoh White Coffee

Since we were suppose to be there for the cakes, we tried their Cheese Cake. It was quite rich in taste and it costs the same or more than Secret Recipe. I think i would rather have it in Secret Recipe.

Say 'cheese'

A closer cheesy look

Overall, the food.....could be better. On a good side, they have...nice plates and bowls. They also have Yogurt Curry Chicken which i heard is quite nice. It's a good place for those who want to eat healthier food and they also have vegetarian food.

Champagne grapes

I was buying some fruits the other day and i came across some grapes, Champagne grapes to be exact. What caught my eye was how small and cute they were! So i decided to buy some to try. Turns out they weren't sweet. Once you pop one into your mouth, you hardly feel a thing!

Small, round and adorable

Joker and i had a game of hide and seek.
