Went to Singapore last weekend with Shirley and her cousins to watch the Phantom of the Opera. Had been discussing to go or not to go for a very long time and lucky for us the show was extended till the 20th of May. After a lot of deliberation (and sms-es), we got the tickets for 19th May (thanks Ben!). So we planned to go on the 18th and come back on the 20th.
We all got to Singapore safely despite some hiccups along the way. One of us missed the bus (ahem!) and yours truly got detained at the Singapore customs for bringing pepper spray (apparently you don't need pepper spray in Singapore!!). But we all managed to meet up and all ends well. Me and Shir separated with her cousins and met up for dinner with Ben and Vicky at City Hall. We did a lot of walking on our first day there and so we were exhausted by the end of the day. Slept about 10 hours straight. :D

The next day we went to Orchard Road for a spot of shopping. Bought a few things for myself.
Later that evening, me and Shir headed back to City Hall to catch our show at the Esplanade Theatre. The show starts at 8 pm and ends around 10.30pm. It's my first time to a theatre and it sure was a good experience. The whole show was great! The start of the show gave me goosebumps and a ripple of excitement; you'll know something is good when you get goosebumps and not because it was cold, mind you. The Phantom was just exceptional, with his great voice and superb performance. It was simply smashing. If only there was a guy who could sing like that to me. ~Swoon~ After the show we reached back at Ben's about midnight.
The next morning, it was time to leave. All of us got to the bus station on time and the bus left promptly at 12pm. And ALL got back to KL safely. :D
