Our first stop was to eat the famous Taiwan noodles (Beef noodles). I forgot where is was, but it was nice. While we were eating, we noticed a sign in the restaurant. It says there's another branch in Damansara Uptown, PJ. Very near to where i'm staying now. We came so far only to find out there's another branch nearer -_-''
Next up, we went to eat some pork satay near Sri Costa hotel. It's my first time eating pork satay. Was good! Something different. After that we went to the new shopping mall, Dataran Pahlawan. The whole place is just 1 level spread out. Nothing much to see, so we went to Mahkota Parade which is just opposite.
Later that evening, we headed out for some seafood. Heard that the nice ones were at Umbai and Sg. Duyong. We went to Crystal Bay, you can't miss the big sign by the road. It's a place i always pass by on the way to Melaka/Muar. And i always thought that place was some kind of resort or something. Here are the dishes we ordered.
No rice served, only Nasi Lemak

The dishes were yummy. It costs about RM65 for the food and drinks for the 4 of us (the receipt said RM69 but they charged RM65, no idea why). There were more restaurants deeper in, but we came straight to the first one we saw.
After dinner, we headed back into town, our destination: Jonker Street. It's been a while since i've been there, about 4 years already!! We walked for a bit, looking at the merchandises and stopping for some snacks (ate durian cendol and nonya laksa). Stopped by at Geographer's for a drink. Was a very hot and humid night in Melaka, so a cold beer was most definitely welcomed. (after a few sips of beer, i turn to my usual shade of red).
Before leaving we watched the famous man who pokes his 2 fingers into the coconut. Very dramatic indeed! Took ages for him to perform, he was talking and talking nonstop, promising to start his act soon but continued talking.
Rite, so after conquering Jonker's, it's time for supper! Went to a shop near Jonker's that only opens at 12.00am. selling 'Char Siew/Siew Yuk' rice. They put curry onto the rice. It's nice, but i've found a nicer one in Aman Suria, PJ. Haven't found 'char siew' better than that one yet.

I only managed to eat a few scoops. Was too stuffed from other snacks.
The night didn't end there. We all went off for more drinks after that. Let's just leave it at that. :D Well, that's all on the food trip. An overstuffed weekend in Melaka. Note to self (and all out there), do not drink alcoholic + carbonated drinks together.
