Went to Midvalley few days back. Eventhough it was a weekday, it was very very packed! And they've put up the Christmas deco.

Euro Deli
Got to Euro Deli quite early, was too hungry to wait.
It's a small and pleasant deli, with mostly pork in the menu. The reason we came was to try out the sausages but in the end we ordered other things.
I would definitely go again given the chance!

The Phone and I
I passed on my Nokia phone to my dad before i went overseas. In UK, i got myself a Motorola V220. It was nice to have a camera phone, but it didn't last. Even before a year, the phone started having problems. First it started by continuous ringing (i assign ringtones for my sms) even after i've open and read the sms. Once it happened, i had to take out the battery only it stopped ringing! (Even off-ing the phone didn't work). Then the camera ceased functioning. At first it would be alright if i switch off and on my phone. After a while it just won't function at all. The memory of the phone is kinda small as well, about 800kb only. So if you want to copy mp3 in, you've got to cut the song up into a smaller size. Copying things in and out of the phone is also another problem. The phone didn't come with the software.
From the beginning of this year, i've been toying with the thought to buy a new phone. I've had my eyes on the Sony Ericsson k750i for ages already. But only about a month or two ago, i started diligently comparing phones, reading about phone reviews and comparing prices. I settled on the w800i but found out there's a newer phone, the Sony Ericsson w700i which is exactly the same (but comes with a smaller Memory stick). My Motorola phone couldn't fetch a decent price if i wanted to trade in, but so happens that my sis was in need of a phone. Her old phone had a crack on the screen, the inner one. (I suspected it was the work of the little imp named Josh).
So now i've got my w700i and it was money well spent. With the walkman function and 2.0 megapixels camera, i can't ask for more (for a phone). The walkman function is best used with the earphones. Really brings you to another world and wipes out all the other noises. This phone has gotten a lot of good reviews, so i hope it can last for the next few years.

This and That..
Last week, i went for a friend's birthday celebration and tried Shisha for the very first time. Was pretty cool. First time maaa..
Watched 'Click' also...it's as nice as people say it is. Serious and funny at times. Went to watch 'Dragon Tiger Gate', was ok..full of action. And no, the third guy's name is not 'Gate'. But i still don't get why they want to cover their eyes with their fringe. Not irritating meh?
I'm currently reading a book by Jodi Picoult, 'My Sister's Keeper'. Got me hooked from the first page. Got to finish it by this weekend. Anymore books to borrow me, Yin?
Going back home tomorrow..Wheeeee...

Bangkok!
We boarded the evening plane there, got the free Air Asia tickets quite sometime ago. Reached there around 8pm Thai time.
I didn't eat that, i ate some Pork Ball noodle. Nice, for only 40Baht. All Thai food came in smaller portions, less oily and delicious! No wonder all the people there were slim. You would have thought we would have called it a night. But NooooOOoo...we started what we came to Bangkok for...well, maybe what i went to Bangkok for. Suan Lum! As you can see from the pic there's a big ass Ferris Wheel in the background. Went for a ride in it, costs 100Baht per person for about 5 spins. They had the famous Beer Garden here. The pic i took was too blur.
Boat ride
After that we went to feed some fishies....Whenever we fed them with bread, they would snatch for it, making big splashes and showering us.
We stop at one of the temples along the riverbank.
Saw a huge toad along the way..
After the half day boat tour, some of us went shopping till evening and then it was dinner at a local Thai restaurant. The next day was a Saturday, so Chatuchak it is!

Lanun-lanun Pulau Caribbean: Harta Lelaki Mati
*Spoilers ahead!*
This movie is the continuation of the first one. Started by showing how Will and Elizabeth's wedding was ruined when they were arrested for helping Jack Sparrow escape. To free themselves, Will had to get Jack's compass. So this ensues a wild goose chase, ending up with Will, Elizabeth and Jack running from Davy Jones' and his crew. And of course there's the
And they threw in a kissing scene between Elizabeth and Jack, and a hint of jealousy from Will (of course he didn't find out the real reason why Elizabeth did that). But the directors didn't dwell into the matter....hmm..
Anyways, can't wait for the next movie, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, expected to be out on the 25th of May nex year. Loads of pirates including Davy Jones, Cutler Beckett, Barbossa and Sao Feng (this is where Chow Yun-Fat comes in).
Wondering whether there will be a continuation for Superman Returns, seeing how it ended. They can't just leave us hanging after seeing that he has a son who's powers are developing. Brendan Routh sure looks...plastic-ky when he stays still...like a mannequin.
Speaking of superheroes, that's my company's theme for the midyear company dinner. Hmm...wonder who'll dress up!

Happy Birthday!
Helped me friend to move a few weekends back. First we walked around Ikea looking for a nice bed for her. Was looking for a 4-Poster Bed. Goodness! Ended up buying some scented candles with nice holders (for her) and currypuffs (for me). Seriously, the currypuffs there are nice. After that was off to her aunt’s house at an expensive gated community to move some of her stuff (tv, dvd player, ps2) to her new apartment. After moving her stuff it was off to buy some pillows (don’t ask me why we didn’t buy it in Ikea in the first place). And once all these were done, I went back home with my currypuffs. Yup, they were in the car the whole day. But still edible. :D
Last week, I finally got to tried out Dragon-i. Well, it’s really nothing to write home about. Nothing exceptionally delicious, just average to me. Tried their spicy beef noodles, fried eel coated with honey and of course their ‘Xiao Long Bao’. Was sort of a pre-b’day dinner. Got a new purse/wallet. :D
A lil' oily though
For me b’day, went to have drinks. Got a b’day mug! In case you’re wondering, I didn’t finish the whole drink (already feeling bloated from dinner and a beer before that). It was shared. Was feeling bloated after that, but managed to drink another half mug of beer. Face was flushed red/purple but somehow was still able to stay up to watch the opening match of the World Cup. Yup, proud to say that WC opened on my b’day. (but on the downside, people would remember the WC more. Hmph!!).
