We've been back from Tokyo for a while now and we miss the place terribly! Nice place, food and people. Wouldn't mind going back there again. Here's peek of Mt. Fuji that we managed to capture. Will update more about the trip later.

Something old, something new, something borrowed, something colourful in blue!
The complete phrase is:
Something old, something new
Something borrowed, something blue
And a silver sixpence in her shoe
Can't believe it's almost 3 months since our wedding. Could not have asked for a more perfect day. After a year of planning everything, the day flew by so fast. Everything went well and according to plan. :)
Let me share my flowers and decoration of the day. I'm so glad I chose the right florist/decorator, cause she made it all so pretty for me! I met up with her beginning of this year to discuss the type of flowers (of course i had only gerberas in mind) and colours (i wanted a blue/white theme). She understood what i wanted, and made it more awesome for me. Thanks Jacqie!
Here's some pictures for you all to see.

History
I've been reading my old posts today. Can't believed it has been so many years. I sounded so enthusiastic and had a lot more !!!! in my sentences. Some things i can't remember at all like movies i watched (The Producers 2005 and Lucky Number Slevin). And some things i said made me cringe. Haha..
I blogged more often then, had more readers and commentators! But now i seemed to be more lazy although blogging has been made easier. Maybe it's because i have so many photos to post up. It's all piling up! Ok, got to admit that most of my post are about food. Need to convert to smaller photo size for easier uploads.
Reading my old posts was fun. A lot of memories. Lots of photos of Josh. Must show it to him one day. Went for a lot of holidays! But not to despair (yes, talking to myself here), we'll be traveling soon to a place i've always wanted to visit. It shall be revealed later.
Alright, am determined to blog more often and clear my backlog of photos.

J Tean Kitchen
Another celebration of my bf's birthday was over lunch at J Tean Kitchen at SS Two Mall. I've heard of their Bak Kut Teh flavoured burger, and of course we were interested to find out how it would taste like. We all ordered a few different things and tried each others food. (Just realised i forgot to take a picture of the pumpkin soup! Or maybe it's in another camera. Will investigate further).
The deco is quite nice, all white with a Chinese-y feel to it. But I found the table and chairs we sat in quite uncomfortable.
Cool lamps! |
The other part of the restaurant |
Of course we ordered their BKT J-Pork Burger. It had a light BKT taste to it, and there was another sauce in it that we tasted in the J-Porky Bun as well. This burger was ok. Doesn't have a strong BKT taste.
I call it the BKT burger |
The Bf loves his BKT, so he ordered their BKT for 1 person. The soup was acceptable, as we like the darker version. Served with rice and garlic + cili padi. We only like certain BKT restaurants, so it's hard to satisfy our tastes.
BKT for 1 person |
Some spaghetti, didn't try it |
J-Porky Bun. Tastes alright |
We ordered the pork knuckle to share. Couldn't get a picture of the before, as the waiters straightaway cut it up for us. I didn't quite like it as it was kinda dry and not that tasty.

Ben's General Food Store
I know. I've not blogged for ages. I know. The list of things i need to blog about is piling up! So let me start with this one.
I celebrated my bf's birthday lunch at Ben's General Food Store at Bangsar Village. Love their deco and concept. We heard their breakfast pizza was great, but we tried out something else instead. As usual, i'll let the pictures do the talking.
The dessert station |
The bf's flat white |
I don't like my coffee too milky, so i went for a cappuccino |
Our usual Caesar Salad. That's a crunchy bacon you see there |
Carnivore pizza. Yes, we love our meat |
And dessert of course. Classic chocolate cake. Yummmmmy. |
Was a really good lunch. Will try their breakfast pizza next!
